During a field visit to the Madinah region, H.E. Dr. Hisham S. The visit is part of the SFDA's intensive preparations for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

The workshop highlighted modern technologies implemented in food factories and their impact on compliance with quality and safety standards. This initiative is part of the SFDA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening product safety under its supervision.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) participated in the 6th Health Innovation Hackathon, held at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) from February 6–9. The event saw participation from several leading government and private entities dedicated to advancing innovation within the healthcare sector.

As a strategic partner of KSAU-HS, the SFDA provided specialized technical guidance. Its experts in digital transformation and artificial intelligence mentored participants as they developed novel solutions for the healthcare industry.
