LECANEMAB

To remind healthcare professionals in Saudi Arabia of the following:
• Potential risk of death associated with Amyloid-Related Imaging Abnormalities with Edema (ARIA-E) linked to Lecanemab.
• To remind HCPs and patients on the approved Risk minimization measures to minimize this risks of: ( ARIA-E/vasogenic cerebral oedema , ARIA-H (cerebral microhaemorrhage and superficial siderosis ) AND ARIA intracerebral haemorrhage >1 cm in Diameter.
• To inform that local product information has been updated to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) schedule to include an additional  MRI scan prior to the third infusion of LEQEMBI to identify ARIA-E at an early stage.
