Process Imposing/lifting a temporary ban related to the import of meat and poultry meat and their products into Saudia Arabia

The aim of these processes is to explain the following procedures:

ِِA . Imposing a temporary ban on meat, poultry meat, and their products planned to be exported to Saudi Arabia from countries, zones, or administrative regions reported to have an outbreak of notifiable diseases that were linked to a possible risk on human and/or animal health, or reported to have chemical or physical contamination that may compromises the safety of meat, poultry meat, and their products.

B . Lifting a temporary ban imposed by Saudi Arabia on countries, zones, or administrative regions that had reported an outbreak of notifiable diseases that were linked to a possible risk on human and/or animal health, or reported to have chemical or physical contamination that may compromises the safety of meat, poultry meat, and their products .The ban will be lifted after receiving a confirmation that the country became free from the underlying disease, and assurance that all required control measures were considered.
