- as monotherapy when metformin is considered inappropriate due to intolerance.

Heart failure
Dapagliflozin is indicated in adults for the treatment of symptomatic chronic heart failure.
Chronic kidney disease
Dapagliflozin is indicated in adults for the treatment of chronic kidney disease.
