Asthma (Reversible Obstructive Airways Disease)
Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol Powder for Inhalation is indicated in the regular treatment of asthma where use of a combination product (long-acting beta-2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) is appropriate:
- Patients who are symptomatic on current inhaled corticosteroid therapy
- Patients already adequately controlled on both inhaled corticosteroid and long acting beta-2-agonist.
- Patients on regular bronchodilator therapy who require inhaled corticosteroids.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol Powder for Inhalation is indicated for the regular treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
