SFDA Food Sector Acquires ISO 9001 Certification
<p class="ms-rteElement-P"> The German Ambassador to the Kingdom, Deter Haler, handed ISO 9001:2008 certificated to SFDA “Food Sector”> ISO 9001:2008 was awarded to the sector by TUV of Germany, as the sector has successfully completed and satisfied quality standards requirements, through implementation of quality management measures on all its operations. This success comes in continuation of SFDA Food Sector’s efforts in implementation of the International Quality Standards and compliance with the same in all its operations, implementation of the international quality management standards & conditions and adoption of the best practices in all its executive departments in order to improve the safety level of food in the Kingdom.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P"> At his part, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saad Al Mehaizie , VP for Food affairs extended his thanks to H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal, SFDA CEO for his continuous support to the various activities of the sector. Dr. Al Mehaizie also thanked Food Sector staff for their efforts in acquiring this certificate.</p>
<p class="ms-rteElement-P">It worth mentioning that SFDA gives much attention to quality systems in all its sectors, through improvement of performance and service quality, in coordination with the respective departments, to promote its services according to international standards.</p>
