The Food Department of the SFDA held a seminar on Monday 12.Nov.2007 entitled" International Trends in (Border Inspection)" presented by Dr.Victor Volkers DVM, from Agrimaco Bureau in Netherlands. The seminar focused on strategies for management developments of food imports border inspection.
The seminar was attended by Prof. Ibrahim Bin Saad Al Mohizea, Vice President of Food Affairs, as well as advisors and employees from the department, and among the audience were food experts from the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Rural and Urban affairs, the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization, King Saud University as well as others from different local agencies concerned with food issues.
