SFDA in National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP)


SFDA participates in NIDLP through the following initiatives:

    1. Support the local production of generic drugs: The initiative aims to working on group of programs that aims to increase the investments in manufacturing generic locally. This initiative contributes to achieving Vision 2030 Strategic Objective 3.3.3 Localize promising manufacturing industries.
    2. Support the local manufacturing for biological, genetics, and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs): The initiative aims to working on group of programs that aims to increase the investments in manufacturing biological, genetics, and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) locally. This initiative contributes to achieving Vision 2030 Strategic Objective 3.3.3 Localize promising manufacturing industries.
    3. Develop the smart, technical support surveillance on imported products and innovation: The initiative aims to enhance the usage of historical data for products to support the importing and the local manufacturing, increase the inspection efficiency before Customs clearance, and raise the level of compliance with relevant requirements and regulations to support of the local content. This initiative contributes to achieving Vision 2030 Strategic Objective 3.3.3 Localize promising manufacturing industries.
