H.E CEO of SFDA, visited the day before yesterday, SFDA branch in Jeddah Province of Makkah Region. H.E CEO held a meeting with West Region employees, department heads, directors and inspectors and encouraged them to exert every possible efforts to ensure safety of food, safety, security and efficacy of drug; and safety and efficiency of medical devices.

H.E. CEO encouraged SFDA inspectors to be honest calling them “soldiers at the frontier” and the nation’s open eyes that inspect and control food. Drug and medical products and the points of entry.

Moreover, H.E Chief Executive officer of Saudi Food & Drug Authority visited SFDA laboratories at the ports and overviewed the latest upgrades and improvement, being urgently implemented, in food control laboratory to enhance food safety in more rapid way.
