The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Saudi Logistics Academy to enhance collaboration in the training and qualification of national cadres. The partnership aims to build specialized human capital in fields shared by both organizations, fostering a sustainable local labor market and supporting job creation in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC), held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh on January 26–27. The SFDA was represented by Mr. Ayman Alfahad, Assistant CEO for Human Capital, while the Saudi Logistics Academy was represented by its Acting CEO, Mr. Malik Alqaoud.

The Saudi Logistics Academy was established through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), with strategic support from the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and the Transport General Authority (TGA). The Academy focuses on empowering the national transport and logistics ecosystem, with the aim of qualifying specialized national cadres, enabling the transport and logistics system, and contributing to consolidating the Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics center.
