SFDA Published a List with 26 formulations that sold in spice dealer shops in an irregular manner.
SFDA noted that some of those lotions anonymous composition, while other products are not allowed to sell only in pharmacies, and only can be available under prescription, and have serious side effects if not used properly.
Some of violated formulations have allegations like medical treatment of pain, starting with the neck and muscle pain, passing through the joints and diseases, colds and inflammation of the nerves, leading to cure all the pain.
These cosmetics claims its ability to treat chronic headaches, epilepsy, stroke, and migraine, coma, and wounds, boils and sores, acne, and others.
While other products bearing fake promises for consumer like skin lightening, and weight loss or gain, and some lotions contaminated with high amounts of toxic mercury, which seriously affect human health, in addition to the contamination of certain products with high amounts of bacteria higher than allowed by the specifications standard Arabia.
SFDA explained that some lotions contain substances that cause fetal malformation.
Those lotions are found in variable types for the consumer, as you find them as eyeliner, creams or patches or syrup, soap, powder or fat or oils or herbs or honey or shampoo.
