SFDA Denied what has been trading recently through social networking on the entry of Israeli Flour product named "Hemorashaty" to the local markets in Tabuk and Jouf regions leading to skin rash (vitiligo )appearance after eating it and then causes Spasm  leading to instant death.
SFDA Explained that the news traded via social networking sites are no more than rumors and it’s not true at all, pointing to some people involved in promotion of such rumors to confuse people and to confuse appropriate sectors of food security and health, going back to the rumor about a gum that causes vitiligo , a year ago. Al Drees confirmed that such rumors are seasonal and promoted from time to time. H also called people to investigate and make sure before they promote such rumors without investigating it, because it will create a state of panic among the citizens and residents. However, rumors like this will shake the confidence in Safety Measures, confirming that SFDA is concerned about the safety of imported food into the Kingdom, and it checks, analyzes and verifies the validity of its use.
