Al-Madinah Municipality and Taiba University Hold a Symposium about Environmental Pollutants and Means of Control

In honor of his royal highness prince Muteb bin Abdulaziz the Minister of Municipality and Rural Affairs, Al-Madinah municipality with Taibah University sponsor a symposium entitled " Environmental Pollutants: Analysis and Control",
which will take place during 6-7/2/1428H, 24-25/2/2007. The objective is to shed lights on the most important contemporary environmental topics; both theoretical and practical. It also incorporates identifying, evaluating and managing all kinds of pollutants as well as updating means of control. During the meeting several issues will be discussed such as: food and water pollutants, the role of health administration in pollution control, industrial and radioactive pollutants, harmful microbial pollutants of environment and human health, risks of hormones, antibiotics and pesticides and hazardous waste management. The symposium aims to attract people who concerned with environmental issues like academics, scholars, researchers and specialists to reveal recent information regarding environment and to give them opportunity to meet environment concerning people and cooperate with them. Beside having some copies of their researches and scientific papers that will be distributed during the symposium as booklets.
It worth mentioning that there will be an exhibition space available for organizations and industries wishing to show their activities and services related to environmental protection.
