H.E  The Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal, received at SFDA’s Head Office the Minister of Primary Industries of New Zealand, Mr. Naithan Guy and the Ambassador of New Zealand to the Kingdom, Mr. Hamish Mc Master and the accompanying delegation. The meeting was also attended by H.E. SFDA VP for Food Sector, Dr. Salah Almiman and Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Ghareeri, the Executive Director for International Cooperation and a number of SFDA Executives. H.E. SFDA Chief Executive Officer opened the meeting by welcoming the guest and companions and delivered a presentation on SFDA’s Vision and Mission. The guest expressed his thanks and appreciation of SFDA’s hospitality and admired the big efforts exerted by SFDA in the field of food and drug control and enacting related regulations. The two parties also discussed the procedures of importing meat and poultry and standardization of same with GCC states besides the procedures of issuance of Halal Slaughter Certificates. At the end of the visit the two parties exchanged souvenirs and took photos with the guest and his companions.
