Egypt ambassador to the Kingdom,  Abdul Wahab Afifi, highlighted  the strong mutual relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt which culminated to a high degree of cooperation between the two countries based on the deep common and historical mutual relations.

This came during the reception of  the ambassador of Egypt to the Kingdom and his accompanying delegation of Chancellors in the field of Medicine & Commerce , at SFDA Head Office in Riyadh. The delegation was received by H.E. CEO of Saudi Food & Drug Authority, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal and the meeting was attended by Dr. Saleh Bawazir- SFDA Vice President; and SFDA Executive Director for Cooperation. The Egyptian side discussed the exchange of information related to dealing with medical devices and reviewed the applied methods and practices in releasing of medical devices, activation of the relations in the field of drug manufacture and control in addition to discussion of lifting the embargo on Egyptian meet exports to the Kingdom after SFDA approves its conformance with SFDA’s requirements.
