The activities of the 9th. version of Drug Awareness Caravan in Balassmar, Tanumah and Namas public hospitals have recently come to an end  in the Southern Region. The caravan targeted the small cities and provinces that have less drug awareness campaigns. The caravan aimed to raise health and drug  awareness among the citizen and expatriates , besides an additional purpose of introducing SFDA’s  role and mission to all dwellers of the various provinces and cities of the Kingdom.

During its activities, the Caravan answered people’s questions and distributed awareness materials, in addition, to distribution of the appropriate forms for reporting drugs side effects and quality issues and explanation of method of reporting them to (NCDR) at SFDA and provision of health consultations to the citizens.

It worth mentioning that the Drug Awareness Caravan previous visited a number of cities and provinces in the Kingdom which included Huraymila, Shaqra, Al Majma’ah, Al Kharj, Al Dalam, Abha, Al Baha, Hafr Al Batin, Quaysumah, Dawadmi, Quayiyah, Muzahmiyah, Darma as well as Jizan, Sabiya and Samitah.
