A delegation Team from Drug Sector Visited the Malaysian National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau

A delegation team from drug and technical information sectors visited the Malaysian National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau which is known as (NPCB), from the First of April to the fourth of April 2007.This visit is based on the strategy of the authority to study systems and experiences of other Authorities.
The members of this delegation were; Prof/Saleh Abdullah Bawazir as the vice president for drug affairs, D/Saad Othman AL-Qosabi as a general manager for administration and finance affairs, D/Haged Mohameed BIN-Haged the manager of pharmaceutical formulation registration, and the technical information sector was represented by ENG/Khaled Abdul-Aziz AL-Rasheed as the manager of practical management and data bases.
The delegation team visited the Malaysian (NPCB) to gather information about the method of medicinal control and evaluation. Also, to look into the possibility of corporation between the (SFDA) and (NPCB) for observation and evaluation of medicines, on all terms such as; policies, legislation, training and support. The (NPCB) shows readiness and interest to corporate in all aspects of medicines control. It has been agreed that both sides will determine the aspects they need to corporate in.
In the Asian continent, the medications organizing authorities in Malaysia is considered as one of the most competent authorities in this filed. On October 1978, the (NPCB) was established to check the quality of medical and pharmaceutical supplies. This institute has been established to monitor the quality of pharmaceutical formulation In 1996, the world health organization (WHO) recognize the Malaysian (NPCB) as Collaborating Center For Regulation Of Pharmaceutical formulation along with the (WHO).This reorganization from the (WHO) was an appreciation for the efforts of (NPCB) in monitoring affairs.
