SFDA "Exhibited its efforts in organizing the Saudi pharmaceutical market through (DUPHAT – Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition) in Dubai

SFDA has presented its efforts in organizing the Saudi pharmaceutical market, at Dubai International Conference  &Exhibition of Pharmacy and Technology (DUPHAT) and participated at the exhibition by providing information for its role in ensuring the safety of drugs and medical products on the market, Also it organizes a conference for scientifically-oriented specialists in health. The meeting aims to highlight SFDA role in the development of regulations on the Arabian Gulf Region, and safety systems and to evaluate quality and availability of drugs control, in addition to the concept of Pharmacovigilence and its impact on public health, In the presence of specialists from SFDA, vice President of Drug Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Juffali talked about regulating pharmaceutical market in Saudi Arabia, Senior pharmacist, Battal Albatall presented the role of SFDA in monitoring the quality, safety and availability of drugs, along with Maher Al-Jasser,  key pharmacists in regulatory affairs for regulation of medicines in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries, and Ibrahim Al Habib, Director of Product Evaluation Department  reviewed the  assessment of pharmaceutical products with all the required data to evaluate the active ingredients in the drug. The Conference will be officially recognized by 5 hours of continuing education from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. SFDA participated in Dubai International Pharmacy and Technology exhibition conference (DUPHAT)

DUPHAT Exhibition witnessed 120 scientific sessions and 25 workshops by 120 lecturers from university professors, to consultants and heads of pharmaceutical associations, in addition to participation of a number of university students.
