SFDA organized a meeting with Alternative Breast Milk Companies & their Agents in the Kingdom  in SFDA’s Head Office to discuss pricing. The meeting was attended by H.E. SFDA Vice President for Food Sector, Dr. Salah Almiman, H.E. Vice President for Drug Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Al Jufali and H.E. The Executive Director for Vigilance & Crisis Management Department, Dr. Adel Al Harf.

SFDA’s executive department of local markets control captured expired food stuff, mixed with fake materials in some food storing and distribution organization; in addition to capturing other food stuff stored under the direct sun rays. 

SFDA, represented by Food Sector, intends to organize a training workshop for operation of the Electronic Clearance of Imported Food (Pilot phase) at the Imported Food Inspection Centers at King Abdul Aziz Sea Port in Dammam and Al Batha point of entry. The purpose of the workshop is to explain the procedures and identify the conditions and requirements of the electronic systems.

SFDA, represented by Food Sector, is pleased to invite all  Potable Water & Ice Companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend to the activities of the ‘Launch of the Electronic Registration & Licensing System of Potable Water, Ice and associated products Organizations in the Kingdom ‘ Workshop, scheduled Tuesday 6/6/1434H (16/4/2013), at 08:30 a.m., at Ramada Hotel, Dammam.

SFDA, represented by Food Sector- “Surveillance & Protection from Food- Carried Diseases Center” , organized a workshop for food- carried diseases survey supervisors to train them on the procedures and mechanisms provided in the survey manual of food-carried diseases, approved by the quatrain committee for investigation of food intoxication accidents. The workshop was held with participants form Ministry of Health and Ministry of Municipal & Rural Affairs to train their supervisors on the said survey procedures.

SFDA, represented by Food Sector- Executive Department for Communication &Awareness- organized a knowledge  awareness project on how to deal with food to ensure that it is free  from contamination with microbes. The project  was launched in both cities of Jizzan ( Al Rashid Mall , 8-9/5/1434) and Jeddah ( Red Sea Mall  12-13/5/1434 & Haifa Mall , 15-16/5/1434).

ينظم قطاع الغذاء بالهيئة ممثلا بالإدارة التنفيذية للاتصال والتوعية المعرض التوعوي الأول لسلامة الغذاء وحفظ الأطعمة وذلك ضمن سلسلة مشاريع الإدارة والذي انطلق في 8/8/1433هـ والمقام في عدد من مولات الرياض وجدة والذي يهدف إلي الوصول الى اكبر شريحة من العائلات وتعريفهم بالممارسات الصحيحة في حفظ الأطعمة والمحافظة على سلامة الأغذية داخل وخارج المنزل ، حيث يقام المعرض في كل من مركز غرناطة والعثيم مول يليه مركز بانوراما وحياة مول ، وتختتم فعاليات المعرض في مركز الرياض جالري بتاريخ 29/8/1433هـ ، كما يختتم المعرض أنشطته في مدينة جده في كل من الروشان مول و ردسي مول 27/8/1433هـ .
