The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, led the SFDA delegation at the 8th Shenzhen Food Safety Forum today. The forum is taking place from November 5th to 6th, 2024, in Shenzhen, China.

The forum, organized by the Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, was inaugurated by Cai Yingquan, Director-General of Market Regulation Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, met on Monday with Mr. Wang Bing, the Director of the Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control (SZIDC), at the SZIDC headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation through joint research projects, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

Aljadhey, led the SFDA delegation on an official visit to the People's Republic of China to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and to participate in the 8th Shenzhen Food Safety Forum.

Dr. Aljadhey visited several counterpart authorities today, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to China.

H.E. Dr. Hisham S. The MoU aims to foster cooperation and facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

The Chief Executive Officer of the SFDA, H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, signed the MoU alongside the Director General of SPSC, Dr. Ali bin Tala Asery.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and King Abdulaziz University (KAU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to enhance joint capabilities between the two sides. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the Global Health Exhibition 2024 in Riyadh, which will be held from October 21 to 23, 2024.
