SFDA continued its business during Eid Al Fiter holidays in its main offices and sub-branches as well as points of entry of food, drug and medical devices & products sectors, in order to complete all clearance processes by SFDA’s inspectors.

The Chief Executive officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almish’al, SFDA Vice Presidents and accompanying delegation visited yesterday, Tuesday, Saudi Customs and Jeddah Islamic Port where they were received by the Director of Jeddah Islamic Port Customs Department, Mr. Mohammed Al Dakheel and the Director of Jeddah Islamic Port, Mr. Sahir Tahlawi and a number of executives.

They exchanged friendly talks and topics of mutual interests while the visitor listened to a briefing on Ports Corporation Work Procedure

​SFDA achieved the second place of the Top Saudi Business Environments for Government Organizations for the year 2013 as  Al Eqtisadiyah Referee Board named five winner- government organizations, after a strong competition between 100 organizations, among which SFDA was declared Second.

Smart phones users,  using  ‘Widows Phone 8’ Operating System, can now access SFDA services, browse  SFDA’s  news and alerts through the new application, as SFDA is the first government entity that  launches an integrated application at the level of government entities, on Widow Phone Operating System.
