Saudi Food and Drug Authority organized yesterday an awareness day for the General Entertainment Authority's employees to enhance healthy lifestyle on the occasion of World Food Day.
The program included scientific lectures for defining the calories and their measurement provided methods; and how to calculate the daily requirement of food for individuals, in addition, SFDA staff presenting nutritional consultations and checked biometrics needing for some employees.
This participation is an extension of the role of the SFDA in raising the awareness of the community members to enable them to enhance their healthy lifestyle and to support the SFDA strategy for the healthy food.
