Prince Fahad bin Sultan Inaugurated the Seventh World Pharmaceutical Saudi Conference

His royal highness prince Fahad bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz the prince of Tabuk and the honorary president of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society inaugurated the Seventh World Pharmaceutical Saudi Conference in Prince Sultan Main Hall at Alfaisalia under the title of ( Pharmacology and New Horizons) which was attended by their Excellencies d. Abdullah bin Mohammed Alfaisal , the Chancellor of King Saud University and d. Mansoor bin Naser Alhawasi, the vice health minister of executive affairs.
The conference started with reading some verses of Holy Quran followed by a speech of the organizing committee delivered by the Society chairman of the board d. Saleh Asswaih. He thanked his royal highness prince Fahad bin Sultan for sponsoring the Conference and supporting the Society continuously and welcomed the attendants. He confirmed that the conference fulfilled one of the main goals of the Scientific Society which is providing continuous education for pharmacists and being up to date with new drug industry and sciences. In addition, he stated that the Board of directors is concerned about making improvements and enhancements, for instance, the Saudi Club of Clinical Pharmacology which has been established in order to improve the clinical part of this profession and it is the unique club not only in the Kingdom but in the Gulf region. At the end of his speech he thanked the world committees, the sponsors of the conference and Aljazeera newspaper as an informative sponsor.
D. Mansoor bin Naser Alhawasi the vice health minister of executive affairs delivered a speech on behalf of his Excellency the health minister d, Hamad Almane. He expressed the salutations and good wishes of d. Hamad Almane to the conference.
Moreover, he thanked Prince Fahad bin Sultan for attending the celebration and added that our Kingdom has progressed in many fields and health field is one of the most important ones since the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz support and concern about it continuously.
D. Alhawasi added that the profession of pharmacology has developed just as other professions until it reached this high and noble position and it serves the patients in many ways starting from drug manufacturing to legislating regulations and lists.
After that, his royal highness prince Fahad bin Sultan delivered his speech in which he confirmed that this seventh conference will help positively in discussing all issues related to pharmacology through sessions that hosts specialists from outside and inside the Kingdom and he wished the conference all success.
In addition, he mentioned that the Saudi universities are important agents which qualify students and train them to be capable pharmacists, in order to serve the medical sector and offer progressed services for citizens.
Moreover, he praised the efforts of King Saud University represented by its pharmacology college which adopts the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society and its staff.
After that, the prince conferred honor upon the sponsors of this conference and they are:

Then, his royal highness received a memorial on this occasion from d. Abdullah Alfaysal the chancellor of King Saud University. Next, his royal highness inaugurated the exhibition which accompanied the conference and walked around it.
His royal highness mentioned the achieved progress in pharmacology field and how it started with only one college and reached 11 government and private colleges.
And he praised the efforts of the Saudi government and the Society with its support during twenty years. He stated too that the Kingdom is pioneer in this field.
