HRH prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh, thanked SFDA for the efforts exerted by their field inspection crews of water factories while he called for more efforts in the field of food and water control and for imposing severe penalties on violators.
This was expressed in HRH Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz cable to H.E. Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal, via the General Secretariat of Riyadh Region Council in Riyadh Governorate, wherein HRH requested to list all factories working in the field of water and food and advise HRH of the inspection results.
It worth mentioning that the Council of Ministers recently assigned to SFDA all regulatory, execution and control tasks of water and ice plants as well as issuance of technical licenses and mandatory standard specifications for drinking water and monitoring of same.
