H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Kanhal, CEO of SFDA, received Mr. Peter Penndel , Czech Minister of Agriculture and accompanying delegation at SFDA Head Office conference hall this morning.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al Kanhal welcomed the Czech Minister who is visiting the Kingdom upon an official invitation and  wished him a good stay in the Kingdom.

The meeting has discussed the regulations and conditions imposed by SFDA to control imported food,  to ensure food safety. The two parties have also discussed the obstacles encountering food imports from outside the Kingdom, how to encourage mutual trade and increase investments. The meeting was attended by H.E. VP of Food Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Al Mehaizie and a number of Executive Directors of Food Sector. ​
