SFDA, represented by food sector, participated in the 8th Dubai International Conference for Food Safety held in the period 17-19 Nov. 2013,  under the auspice of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Governor of Dubai. The conference is considered an opportunity for those who are concerned with the safety of food at the local, regional and international levels. It is noteworthy that the conference includes 11 Key sessions and 7 workshops in addition to  three different symposiums and a number of scientific & technical sessions discussing several issues related to food and its safety, through seeking assistance of international professional experiences in the field and to find the modern tools that would ensure sfety of food in view of new challenges. SFDA contribution to the Conference came through attending the various sessions, workshops and associated exhibition where a a special stand was erected for food sector, comprising food safely awareness and the proper means of food preservation flyers.
