In the presence of H.E.  Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, CEO of the SFDA, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) concluded the “Waedoon” Program, which was launched in October 2024. The program offered specialized training courses to build leadership skills with the participation of 26 professionals of specialists and department heads across the SFDA's sectors. 

The program, which concluded on Tuesday, offered a comprehensive learning experience featuring different tracks and components including advanced leadership training courses in partnership with international business schools and universities, and mentorship and guidance courses. It also included the "Job Shadowing Program" which gave participants a chance to observe leaders in their daily work, offering valuable, real-world insights.

In addition to these core elements, the program also featured sessions with regulatory experts who shared their knowledge and experience. Participants worked on practical projects using a "Design Thinking" approach, which focuses on analyzing challenges and solving problems through creative solutions. This part of the program was intended to help staff improve their decision-making skills and support the SFDA's strategic objectives.
