SFDA Signs Two MoC with PNU and KKU

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) signed two memoranda of cooperation (MoC), on Monday May 9, 2022, with Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) and King Khalid University (KKU), on the sidelines of the International Exhibition and Forum for Education 2022 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The MOC was signed by His Excellency SFDA’s CEO, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, and the President of PNU, Dr. Inas bint Suleiman bin Mohammed Al-Issa, and the President of KKU, Dr. Falah bin Raja Allah Al-Solami.

The two MoC aim at exchanging data, information, statistics, scientific and practical experiences, and scientific advice through the provision of programs, courses, lectures, training forums and specialized workshops.

It also includes cooperation in the field of supporting scientific research, publications and related joint studies, making use of scientific sources, in the field of supporting clinical trials, developing educational programs related to the work of the SFDA, research proposals with graduate students, and research related to nutrition and the impact of nutritional legislation on the nutritional pattern of society, in addition to monitoring programs for contaminants in food and feed and developing mechanisms for epidemiological investigation of foodborne disease incidents.
