If the competent authority has any inquiry regarding the health certificate it can be discussed with SFDA. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) participates in the celebration of the World Food Safety Day, which falls on Wednesday (the 7th of June of each year), under the theme “Food Standards Save Lives”.

The celebration of this day aims to promote a culture of food safety, comply with food standards and raise awareness of their importance, and reduce food risks by raising awareness and helping to prevent, detect and manage risks transmitted through food.
