Meat and poultry topped the list of violating foods detected by SFDA inspectors at the points of entry during Rajab and Sha’ban, totaling 267137 kg out of 1568 ton of violating foods rejected at the points of entry during that period.
SFDA inspectors found two warehouses in Dammam and Jeddah, vilating the conditions of food storage, where SFDA found about 59 thousand kilograms of rotting and expired food.

The SFDA Food Sector launched two overnight programs conducted during the period from 25 Thu Al Hejah 1434 AH (30 Oct 2013) to 15 Muharam 1435 (18 Nov 2013) in two major Riyadh shopping malls (Granada Mall and Al Othaim Mall).
