Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) delegation visited recently Kuwait Ministry of Health to discuss issues of common interest and cooperation prospects between both sides.

​The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has obtained a certificate of accreditation in the field of inspection of food facilities, drugs and medical devices, in addition to renewing the accreditation for the fifth year in a row in inspection of food facilities in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012. This standard is considered the basic standard for international accreditation bodies and the international standard recognized around the world in the field of inspection.

His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, visited the SFDA office at Al-Batha land port today to inspect the progress of work, review the most prominent achievements and existing projects, and discuss challenges and difficulties.

During the visit, Dr. Aljahdey met with Director General of Customs at Al-Batha Port, Mohammed Ali Al-Qaisi.

His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, met today at the authority’s headquarters in Riyadh, His Excellency the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Moktar Ould Dahi and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritania to the Kingdom Sidi Ali.

His Excellence the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey received here today the Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed the joint cooperation opportunities in the fields of medicine, medical devices and supplies.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is looking forward to enhancing the safety of food, medicine, medical devices and supplies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through exchanging knowledge and technologies and conducting research with local and international scientific bodies.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has recently published the international standard on safety controls for cupping devices "hijamah tools" (ISO 5227). This is the first international standard developed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a national standard to be an international standard as per ISO regulations.

His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey met today with Vice President of Amazon Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and CEO of Souq.com, Ronaldo Mouchawar and the company’s team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, on the sidelines of the 6th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), which is being held in Riyadh from 25 to 27 October 2022.

Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) concluded its participation in the World Health Exhibition, which was organized by the Ministry of Health at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center during the period 9-11 October under the slogan "Transformation in the Health Sector".
