His Royal Highness Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz headed the session which was held by the Ministers Council on Monday afternoon in Alyamama Palace in Riyadh. Several resolutions have been made by the Council according to the agenda; one of them regards the regulation that includes rules and procedures of registering medical devices; and that is the text of it:
Cooperating with King Faisal Specialist Hospital, the SFDA is organizing a campaign for blood donation starting from Saturday 8-6-1428H, corresponding to 23-6-2007AD and It will last for three days starting at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A specialized team will exist with their carriage in front of the SFDA headquarter to have blood from donors whom don’t belong to the SFDA.
A large number of people participated in a poll of the SFDA about the less polluted and healthier food. 54.27% believe that food produced locally is healthier and less polluted, while 27.64% chose imported food for being better. The remaining 18.09% voted for (I don’t know). This poll shows the importance of raising medical and nutritional awareness in the community in order to educate people in these areas.
The SFDA food sector hosted a Netherlands delegation represented by Mr. Fritz Foscht, the Official of the International Cooperation in the Netherlands Authority of Food Safety and Consumer Products, and Mr. Cambel Alberts, the Consultant of the Nutritious Safety in Wageningen University, during the 2nd to 6th of Jumada Alakher, 1428H, that equals the 17th to 21st of June, 2007AD.

The SFDA formed common workgroups with the Saudi Immigration in order to build up a new strategic cooperation to enhance the SFDA role in the land borders of the Kingdom.
The SFDA inaugurated its new service on the internet
"SFDA in the press". Until now, more than 130 news have been added in order to shed light on the SFDA efforts and reports related to it.
Through this service, all news and reports published in the Saudi press are added to the intranet portal of the SFDA to facilitate viewing them, and any news paper can be chosen to scan its reports.
