The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) announced a 60% increase in the availability of feed products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the first half of 2025, compared to the same period of the previous year. This substantial growth reflects SFDA's continued efforts to enhance product availability and improve service quality, aligning with its Fourth Strategic Plan. Additionally, supporting the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key initiative of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) held a workshop at its headquarters in Riyadh entitled “Consultative Sessions for Registering, Advertising, and Promoting Food, Feed, and Cosmetic Products.” The workshop, presented by several specialists from the SFDA, highlighted the mechanisms and procedures for registering, advertising, and promoting food, feed, and cosmetic products.

The Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) announced that the abstract submission for Research Day 2024 is still open. The event will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the SFDA headquarters.

Abstracts should align with the SFDA Research Day 2024 theme and cover topics related to human drugs, veterinary drugs, herbal products, food, feed, pesticides, medical devices and supplies, cosmetics, and tobacco.
