SFDA won, being the first government entity in the Kingdom, the Approved Technical Support Provider Award approved by HDI. This certificate is granted to IT Technical Support Centers in recognition of their excellence, efficiency and quality of services provided to customers. This certificate is based on applying internationally recognized standards developed and approved by Global Specialist Commission in the field of technical support. By winning  this award, SFDA became one of the few elites who deserved to get this certificate worldwide, and ranked as the first government entity in the Kingdom, and the second after SABIC, which won the same certificate before.

This selection by the issuing Entity was based on the positive work environment and global levels of customer service and strategic vision and quality operations and continued  improvements which lead to creating a paperless business environment.

Commenting on this certificate, H.E The Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal said : SFDA is one of the government leaders in the field of e-transformation of all its business in an effort to provide a distinguished electronic business environment according to recognized international standards. He highlighted SFDA winning of a number of awards and certificates of appreciation in this field. Dr. Almishal attributed this award to the Kingdom’s steady progress in all fields under the umbrella of the boom witnessed in the country during  the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

It  worth mentioning that SFDA has already obtained International Information Security Conformity ISO 27001 certificate on the best practices and applications in information security management, as well as a certificate of EPI approved Information Center, as well as the award in the field of Systematic Business Process Management and Information Technology from Leonardo Consulting, upon completion of an advanced program that included business processes for food, drug and medical devices & products sectors.
