The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has warned against three types of bacteria that may cause food poisoning and negatively affect consumer health. This initiative aligns with the SFDA's ongoing efforts to enhance public awareness concerning the adoption of proper health practices to prevent such illnesses.
On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) held a workshop titled “Responsibilities and Role of Food Safety Officers in Promoting Internal Self-Monitoring within Food Establishments.” The workshop was inaugurated by the CEO of the SFDA, His Excellency Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, and attended by a number of specialists and representatives from food establishments.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is actively preparing for the upcoming Hajj season. As part of these preparations, the SFDA has already carried out over 300 field inspection visits to food factories operating in the Makkah and Al Madinah regions.
