SFDA inspection teams captured more than 50K package of violating pharmaceutical products located in some pharmacies and warehouses and about 20k package of violating pharmaceutical products stored under bad conditions in an apartment belonged to a medical centre in Riyadh, during the month of Ramadan.
SFDA will begin after tomorrow (Friday) 15/10/1436H, to receive applications for release of drugs & medical Supplies- including narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances for Hajj Missions or governmental entities arriving at or departing from the Kingdom, for the use of their patients, jupon release procedures and controls were identified.
He Council of Ministers approved, in its session today chaired by The Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Cosmetics Regulations and prepared a Royal Decree to this effect.
The main characteristics of this regulation involve:
1. Enforcement of its provisions on cosmetic products, their factories, warehouses and trading.
SFDA confirmed the completion of update and renewal of certificates for more than 5800 drugs and 900 health herbals .
