SFDA warns from using CAMERA brand industrial nipples models 10095, 140 ml with Barcode 4711146100948, and model 10099, 250 ml with Barcodes 4711146100986 and 4711146100993 , made in Peoples Republic of China as the analysis of these nipples revealedthe following:
1. The said nipples are made of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Not Silicon, as identified on the package
2. The nipples are incompliant with Saudi Standard Specifications for Nipples as well as the applicable specifications for assessment of the safety of contact surfaces to food stuff, whereas the nipples exceeded the permissible limits for transportation of plastic components into contacting food.

Therefore , SFDA advises consumers not to buy or use the above referenced nipples and immediately dispose of any of these types of nipples

SFDA is coordinating with the concerned authorities in order to take the necessary precautionary procedures to ensure recall of the said product from the local market and ban its entry to the Kingdom’s markets.
