SFDA CEO Discuss Experts Exchange in Halal Products with Malaysian Institutions

His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, held a series of meetings in the Malaysian capital with Malaysian scientific institutions that specialize in halal products to explore the services they provide and to exchange experiences and knowledge.

His Excellency visited the Malaysian University of Putra (UPM), where he reviewed the university's scientific programs and the operations of the Halal Products Research Institute (IPPH), which was established to position the university at the forefront of this field by conducting studies on all aspects of these products at both local and international levels, as well as developing research.

Dr. Aljadhey also visited the Malaysia Halal Analysis Centre (MyHAC), which aims to support and empower the halal certification program while establishing international laboratories for analytical purposes. In accompany of the head of the MyHAC, Mr. Muhammad Omari bin Abdullah, he explored the analytical services, including chemical, physical, and biotechnological tests.
